# T-UGOm T-UGOm (Toulouse Unstructured Grid Ocean model) is an model designed for modelling ocean tides and surges. It was part of the French national COMODO (community developments for ocean modeling) initiative. T-UGOm is a 2D/3D ocean dynamics numerical model based on unstructured meshes. Its main distinctive features are: - Multi-discretisation capabilities (mostly LGP0, LGP1, NCP1, LGP2, continuous and discontinuous) - Finite volume and finite elements schemes - Explicit/semi-implicit tunable - Time step dynamical local sub-cycling embedded 2D/3D spectral solver for tides - Nudging capabilities --- ```{toctree} :maxdepth: 2 :caption: Content : Model References and collaborations Model description Numerical description Installing and compiling T-UGOm Running T-UGOm Model inputs and settings ``` ## Main current developpers [Florent Lyard, LEGOS/CNRS, Toulouse, France.](mailto:florent.lyard@utoulouse.fr) ## Other contributors | Name | Affiliation | |------|-------------| | David Greenberg | Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Halifax, Canada | | Cyril Nguyen | LA/CNRS, Toulouse, France | | Laurent Roblou | LA/CNRS, Toulouse, France | | Damien Allain | LEGOS/CNES, Toulouse, France | | Yves Soufflet | LEGOS, Toulouse, France | | Clément Mayet | LEGOS, Toulouse, France (PhD) | | Thierry Letellier | LEGOS, Toulouse, France (PhD) | | Yoann Le Bars | LEGOS, Toulouse, France (PhD) | | Frédéric Dupont | Meteorological Division, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Dorval, Canada |
